Context Lunalogic UK is looking for a Commodities IT Support analyst to join his client's London CIT Business Support Team dedicated to the Commodities-Indexed Transactions Activity (CIT).
CIT provides liquidity and market-making services across commodity markets to a large and diversified base of clients worldwide. Products include Base and Precious Metals, Oil, European and North American Power and Natural Gas, Coal, Emissions and Agricultural Commodities.

Key Responsibilities As a member of the team, support the global commodities in house platform, critical for front-to-back functionality including pricing, risk management, trade booking, market data imports, p&l reporting, settlements, physical scheduling, trade confirmations and regulatory reporting and more.
Key daily tasks include:
  • Fielding questions from all CIT personnel including traders, marketers, risk managers, and middle office and others
  • Analysing and resolving production support technical and functional issues
  • Proactively monitoring the system
  • Incident Management
  • Release management
  • Participate to the platform improvement :
    • Monitoring
    • Infrastructure and Architecture
    • Obsolescence Management / Migrations
    • Bug Fix specifications and testing
    • Various tools development
  • First-line support rota, which includes an early shift for resolving overnight batch issues and late shift + on-call for overnight and weekend support.

Functional skills:
  • Cleared and OTC products (Futures / Options / Swaps /Exotics).
  • Good knowledge on Commodities activity
  • Knowledge on pricing, valuation, and p&l.
  • Front to back workflows and architecture.
  • Market data management and providers.
  • Settlement and invoicing.
  • Regulatory reporting for commodities
  • Confirmation process.
Technical skills:
  • Intermediate level relational database and SQL skills are required.
  • Monitoring tools: Geneos, Graphana/Prometheus, Dynatrace.
  • Windows / Linux Servers administration - essential.
  • Networks infrastructure / Security - essential.
  • Good knowledge of script languages (Powershell, Python ...).
  • Experience on Dev/Ops environments.
  • Knowledge on: IBM MQ / Octopus / Consul is a plus.
