Located in the heart of the City, our esteemed client is a commercial law firm in search of a Senior Commercial Solicitor to join the team and continue its growth. The firm works primarily with private companies and partnerships along with its shareholders, investors, partners and directors.  

Position: Senior Commercial Solicitor
Reporting to: Managing Partner

About the Role:
As a Senior Commercial Solicitor, you'll play a pivotal role in running cases and nurturing a high-performing team. You'll have the chance to work across a variety of practice areas, including:

• Reviewing and drafting commercial agreements, focusing on emerging trends such as commercial contracts for trading platforms, subscription models, and new ways of trading online
• Building specialism around GDPR and its application to commercial contracts
• Handling data theft, including breach of confidential information, misuse of intellectual property, and personal data
• Engaging in contentious and non-contentious intellectual property work
• Cease and desist work
• Developing agreements for apps, software, joint ventures, and other collaborations

Responsibilities Include:

• Handling new enquiries, scoping jobs, and pricing services
• Supervising juniors on S/EIS and Companies House filings
• Collaborating with the Managing Partner to produce marketing materials for the website
