Job Title: Commercial Solicitor 2-5PQE
Location: Surrey Heath
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Our client, a highly regarded Legal 500 firm, is seeking a talented and ambitious Commercial Solicitor with 2-5 PQE to join their team. The successful candidate can expect to be working for household brand names and owner-managed businesses alike on a wide range of general commercial matters across a variety of industry sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising clients on a wide range of general commercial matters, including commercial contracts, data protection, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance
  • Drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, such as supply and distribution agreements, joint venture agreements, and service agreements
  • Assisting clients in resolving commercial disputes and managing the litigation process where required
  • Advising on mergers and acquisitions, including conducting due diligence and drafting transactional documents
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and contributing to business development initiatives
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor with 2-5 PQE in commercial law
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of general commercial law principles and procedures
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of advising on commercial contracts, data protection, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance matters
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality work to clients
