Property Underwriter

We have a fantastic opportunity that would suit either an experienced Underwriter or someone with an established insurance or broking background to join our expanding team as a Property Underwriter.

Ideal candidates will have an excellent working knowledge and understanding of Property insurance.

In this role, you will be negotiating terms, securing renewals, and processing MTA adjustments, alongside providing exceptional service to our brokers.

You will have a comprehensive understanding of risk analysis, and the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.

By effectively managing risk, our Underwriters play a crucial role in contributing to the growth and retention strategy targets of our business.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of Underwriting principles and practice.
• Good risk analysis and technical skills.
• A Trading Mindset and Commercial Awareness.
• Ability to use initiative.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
