Commercial Process Engineer

On behalf of our client, a global business and world leader in their field, TRF Technical are recruiting for a Commercial Process Engineer.

The role will entail the handling of internal and external customer enquiries for the company’s product range. Managing the companies CRM system to ensure tasks, meeting and service response tasks are met.

Key Responsibilities include;

  • Ability to provide quotations from technical drawings and customer specifications

  • Assist when required to pull a complete bid together

  • Preparation of tender, costing and working with the engineering team to seek technical data

  • Support with any amendments of tender specifications and sales proposals and quotations.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A sound technical background and knowledge of Process Equipment, ideally pumps or cyclones

  • Experience of detailing and understanding process flow sheets, equipment lists and plant solutions

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Computer literate, ideally knowledge of MRP or SAP systems

  • Ideally from an engineering background with previous pricing experience

  • Good understanding of negotiation, cost management an all aspects of the estimating process
