A Finance & Commercial Support role working for a high profile technology business based in Nottingham

Your new company
You will be working for a high profile, market leading technology business based in Nottinghamshire. Your new role
You will be working directly with the Financial Controller, offering support across the finance department as well as to the wider business where necessary. Your responsibilities will include, assessing margins and verifying negative margin codes for customer discounts, working closely with finance, sales and production to ensure accurate and timely reporting, to resolve any manufacturing, supply or customer queries where necessary, to calculate margins and create reports, to create reports and journals for various departments, and all other duties as required by the department.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience working in a similar capacity will be highly beneficial in this role. You will have strong experience operating within a finance function, and in conjunction with the wide business. You will be competent in the analysing of data, the creation of reports or journals, and in the resolution of internal and external queries. You will be confident picking up new systems, and will be operating at intermediate level on Excel. Your attention to detail must be second to none, and you must be confident working to deadlines in a time sensitive and pressured environment. Your communication skills will be strong, and you will be happy to liaise with parties inside and outside of the business, as well as being comfortable working without supervision where necessary.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a basic salary of £17,000 - £21,000 depending on your previous experience. You will also receive discretionary benefits as a result of being part of a large business.
