MacGregor Black is delighted to partner with a Global FMCG business in their search for a Commercial Finance Manager. This is a permanent position based near York.

As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing valuable analysis and strategic planning support to the business. You will collaborate closely with various departments, acting as a key liaison between commercial operations and other functions to drive performance and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Partnering and Decision Support: Collaborate closely with the commercial team, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making and drive performance delivery.
• Tender Management and Business Planning: Support and lead initiatives related to tenders, promotions, competitive strategies, and business planning.
• Inflation Management: Drive actions to mitigate inflationary pressures and recover costs through strategic initiatives, working closely with the sales team.
• Margin Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance margin through pricing strategies, product development, and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Range and Promotional Evaluation: Evaluate new product ranges and promotional plans, conducting pre and post-analysis to inform decision-making and ensure effective control.
• Customer Margin Management: Provide insight and challenge on customer margin management for Frozen retail, Foodservice, and Export customers, driving actions to optimise profitability.
• Sales Margin Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of sales margins and implement strategies to improve performance.
