SRM are exclusively partnered with a Hertfordshire listed business who are seeking to recruit a Qualified FP&A Analyst working closely with the wider finance team.

The role will involve supporting all aspects of financial planning including the annual budget and monthly financial re-forecasts. You will also support the wider head office and operational teams with analysis and providing valuable insight into KPI’s to help drive business decisions and performance. This is an opportunity for a driven individual looking to progress their career in finance who will take a leading role in the annual budget process.

What will you be doing:

  • Ownership of monthly revenue forecasting, collaborating with wthe ider head office and operation, to understand both revenue and cost performance.
  • Building and maintaining robust revenue models
  • Leading role in the annual budget process, generating revenue and cost budgets, working with managers, and providing insight.
  • Supporting with the budget board pack and communications to CFO.
  • Understand trends and aligning targets with overall company targets. Ensure targets and bonus payments align to company performance.
  • Assist with monthly board reporting on trading and financials. Providing insightful commentary on performance and variance analysis.
  • Build and own robust financial models including the interest cost model.
  • Play an active role in analysing and challenging P/L variances.
  • Support with production of MI through reportng for FP&A and finance related dashboards.
  • Business partnering and supporting with analysis and insight into KPI’s.

What do you require:

  • MUST be a fully Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA (1-4 years PQE)
  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse various forms and large volumes of data
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues at all levels (including executive level)
  • Positive and proactive approach, constantly looking to improve processes and results
  • Eagerness to learn and drive career progression
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Financial modelling knowledge or experience
