Job Title: Commercial Broker

Salary: £35,000 depending on experience

Location: Glasgow and surrounding - Hybrid working

 PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Working in an exciting professional environment at an independent broker you will be part of a secure company experiencing rapid growth. You will be providing assistance and support to Account Executives. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing high level customer service and maintaining quality control
  • Reviewing and distributing documentation to clients
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients
  • Managing a portfolio of essential clients and addressing their needs
  • Handling various administrative tasks such as renewals, adjustments, invoicing, and addressing client inquiries

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 3 years commercial insurance experience
  • Good understanding of the commercial insurance market
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products including property, motor, EL, PL, commercial combined, etc.
  • Fluency and confidence in dealing with customers over the phone and face to face
  • Ability and flexibility to work as part of a team
  • Ability to negotiate with insurers
  • Experience of Acturis preferred but not essential
