About the Team:

Interested in being part of a world-leading global payments business? FIS process almost 50% of payments on the UK high street, on a typical day, we process 36 million mobile, online and in-store transactions.
Our Collections teams provide support to our Global Business customers, managing accounts with a strong focus on cash collection, and aged debt clearance. You'll be part of a high performing, fast-paced team who always strive to exceed cash and quality targets whilst operating in line with FCA, DPA and Banking Code Regulations.

What you'll be doing:

This role is an exciting opportunity working within the Collections team on both BAU and project activities you will take a lead on supporting Collections projects and change enhancements. You will be the key business contact working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to depart specialist knowledge and expert input for Collections & Recoveries . You will review opportunities for improvements in processes and systems to strive for operational effectiveness. You should have an understanding of the team and departmental outputs to explore opportunities to maximise working capital and minimise bad debt risk, such as cash collection. As this role has a high level of interaction across the business you must be able to demonstrate great stakeholder engagement and be confident in communicating at all levels.

What you'll bring
  • Excellent customer service skills with experience of negotiation and influencing
  • Excellent communication skills able to build business relationships and engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • B2B collections experience and understanding of the Collections process
  • Experience working with corporate customers
  • Understanding around the BACS rules
  • Exposure to working in a targeted driven environment
  • Very good Excel skills
  • Understanding of Direct Debits
  • Sound knowledge of bed debt reduction
  • language skills - French speaking
Added bonus if you have:
  • Experience of coaching or supporting with training and mentorship
  • Experience of Reporting and collating MI
