You will be working within a busy office environment with the team objective of collecting outstanding payments.
This is an interesting role that requires the initiative to be able to switch between dealing with domestic and commercial customers (B2C and B2B), and identify which customers 'can't pay' and which customers 'won't pay' to ensure that appropriate action is taken.
You will use email and telephone channels, both inbound and outbound, to liaise with customers in order to support them in paying their bills, resolving any queries and disputes, negotiating payment plans and liaising with third party collection agencies where necessary.
We are looking for a confident individual with a great telephone manner and written communications skills who would like to work closely with a great team.
Ideally you will have previous experience of working within collections/credit control, or discussing payments with customers, although this is not essential.
