CNC Turner

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Turner in Nantwich. Our client provides high quality,customer focused engineering services across a wide variety of customers and we arelooking for an experienced, skilled CNC Turner to fill a permanent, full time position withintheir busy team.

This position would suit someone who enjoys variety and who is looking to developtheir own skill set.

Role & Responsibilites

- Programming, Setting and operating CNC multi axis mills and lathes including Haas, Doosan and XYZmachines using Haas and Fanuc controls.

Requirements

- 2-3 years turning experience preferred

- Experience in multi-change set ups and demanding tolerances,

- Be able to work from engineering drawings to produce high quality components in avariety of materials,- Experience in off line programming and live tooling would be an advantageCandidate Profile· Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and following instructions outlined injob cards· Comfortable working to systems and procedures but able to think clearly andindependently· Experience working within a sub–contracting environment to tight tolerances· Team player with a positive, flexible “can-do” attitude· Pays attention to detail and has the ability to produce consistently high-qualityproducts for our customersPersonal Characteristics· Good time management and planning skills· Highly motivated· Ability to adapt positively to change· Attention to detail· Ability to work on own initiativeMethodical, solution-based approach

Salary: £28,000 – £33,600 per year depending on experience

Working Hours: 38.5 hour week, Monday – Friday (half day Friday)

Experience: Turning 2-3 years (preferred)
