Passionate about all thing's aviation, my client is a manufacturer at the forefront of aviation technology. They work with state of the art, custom built computer controlled machinery and design software to design, create and craft unique propellers.

Due to ongoing success, they are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join their friendly team. The ideal candidate will be adept at setting up and running CNC Turning Machines, crafting one of a kind and small batch components to a high standard.

(CNC Turner) - Position Overview

  • Setting and operating CNC turning operations.
  • Making one-offs and small batches of components
  • Having a good understanding of engineering drawings
  • Accurately inspecting and measuring components

(CNC Turner) - Position Requirements

  • Experienced in precision CNC Turn operations.
  • Familiar with Harrison and Doosan lathes
  • Milling experience is advantageous
  • CAD/CAM knowledge also an advantage although not essential
  • Have an enthusiastic can-do attitude with an eye for detail.
  • An interest in aviation or heritage engineering a bonus.
  • Happy to work in a small team or unsupervised.

(CNC Turner) - Position Remuneration

  • Hours 8am to 4:30pm Mon-Fri
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Company pension
  • Salary £33,000 - £40,000 (depending on skills and experience)
