CNC Turner

Annual Salary: £30k - £34k depending on experience.

Location: Fakenham

Job Type: Full-time

We are on the lookout for a skilled CNC Turner. This role is crucial for someone with a strong background in CNC turning and programming, especially with Fanuc controls. The ideal candidate will be able to handle new manufacturing items and contribute to the programming needs of our dynamic operation.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machines, primarily focusing on turning operations.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to produce new items and adjust programs as necessary.
  • Ensure the quality of finished products meets the required standards.
  • Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Maintain equipment, performing regular checks and troubleshooting issues.
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize production processes.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:45 pm
  • Friday: 7:30 am - 12:30 pm
  • Overtime opportunities are sometimes available, including potential Saturday mornings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in CNC turning.
  • Experience with programming CNC machines (desirable)  
  • Proficiency with Fanuc controls. (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and machine operation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
