Our client, a Tooling company in Rotherham; require an experienced CNC Machinist, the successful candidate will have CNC turning experience.

The position is for 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm and Friday 7am - 12:00pm, occasional flexibility may be required. Default shift pattern is a standard day shift

  • The successful candidate will ideally possess:
  • A sound understanding of both manual and CNC turning is essential.
  • Experience working in an engineering environment is essential.
  • The candidate will operate CNC turning machines operating from 2 axis CNC lathes and working to tight tolerances.
  • Verify conformity of parts using gauges - sending first off parts for CMM measurement.
  • Programming experience would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
