We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Milling Setter/Operator on behalf of our client who are a leading manufacturer of plastic injection mouldings & high quality pharmaceutical glass.

Your role as a CNC Miller, you will be tasked with machining precision bespoke products. Your role will include playing an essential role in transforming designs into reality. Your will need to be able to program, set & operate our CNC machinery to a high standard and complete all work to a high quality.

What you will be doing?

  • Programming, setting and operating several milling CNC machines.
  • Setting up CNC and setting correct tools to machine ready for production.
  • Making sure all machines are monitored and running smoothly.
  • Programming CNC machines to produce precision products.
  • keep record of accurate documentation of programming and machining finish times.
  • Completing routine maintenance checks on machines.

What you will need to succeed?

  • You must have proven experience in CNC programming - Minimum 3yrs experience.
  • Experience working on CNC Milling machines is essential.
  • Experience working with Hurco, FANUC or other relevant controls are essential.
  • Confident in your understanding of engineering drawings/Specs and able to work to close tolerances.
  • Keen eye for detail as your working focus will be on precision and high quality.
  • Excel in problem solving.
