CNC PROGRAMMER - PORTSMOUTH

£40,000 + 27 days AL + Bank Holidays, Flexible working, Discounted RAC cover, Enhanced Pension Scheme.

Due to ongoing success and company expansion, our client, a specialist manufacturing company are looking to add to their Production team, with a talented CNC Programmer joining the company.

We are looking for a CNC programmer. If you're a driven & highly motivated person wishing to craft out a successful and rewarding future in what is a truly unique environment, this could be the role for you. You will be working on a variety of projects and involved with different areas, making this a varied and rewarding role.

THE ROLE:

• Programming a range of CNC machines (3, and 5 axis).
• Manufacture of jigs and fixtures to support all areas of the business.
• Online and offline CAM programming (Heidenhain & Siemens controllers)
• 3 Axis CNC Milling + 5 Axis CNC Milling.
• CNC Turning.
• Manufacture injection mould tooling and components.
• Modify Injection mould tools, including electrode manufacture, producing job sheets and work instructions.
• Take ownership of part and material ordering and processing.
• Liaise with Toolroom Supervisor regarding machining activities.

THE PERSON:

• Previous CNC Machining experience
• CAM programming experience
• Experience programming both 3 and 5 axis machines
• Experience setting and operating CNC machines
• Tool design experience (desirable)
