CNC Machinist
Position: CNC Machinist
Area: Aberdeen
Salary: £18ph - £20ph
Shifts: 7am - 4pm Monday to Friday (Friday 2pm finish)
The Role:
- Operate CNC machines with Mazatrol and Siemens control systems to fabricate parts as per specifications.
- Program and set up machines for optimal performance.
- Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for conformance to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company policies.
Requirements:
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Skilled in setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts.
- Proficient in both turning and milling processes.
- Capable of performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining.
- Proven track record of working with various materials, including metals and composites.
- Experience in optimizing machining processes for efficiency and quality.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
- Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and methodologies in CNC machining.
