CNC Machinist

Position: CNC Machinist

Area: Aberdeen

Salary: £18ph - £20ph

Shifts: 7am - 4pm Monday to Friday (Friday 2pm finish)

The Role:

• Operate CNC machines with Mazatrol and Siemens control systems to fabricate parts as per specifications.
• Program and set up machines for optimal performance.
• Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for conformance to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Skilled in setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts.
• Proficient in both turning and milling processes.
• Capable of performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining.
• Proven track record of working with various materials, including metals and composites.
• Experience in optimizing machining processes for efficiency and quality.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
• Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and methodologies in CNC machining.
