Cloud Engineer - £55,000

Pearson Carter are currently working with a global organisation within the Health Industry who are working on a major migration project to the cloud. We are looking to hire a Cloud Engineer with experience in one of the major clouds (AWS, Azure) to help with the on-going migration.

Also, within this role, you are going to make sure the infrastructure on premises and the cloud utilising tools like VMWare (Vsphere + Esxi admin), IaC, Azure ARM or CloudFormation. There is some external project work to be done as well. They also work with other external projects too.

You need to be comfortable working as a part of a team and also as a standalone Cloud Engineer.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer (AWS / Azure)
  • VMWare (Vsphere + Esxi admin)
  • Iac and Configuration Management Tools (Ansible, Azure ARM, CloudFormation)
  • Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
  • CI/CD / DevOps
  • Intune

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring systems are effective and reliable
  • Design and implementation of cloud solutions
  • Troubleshooting and solving issues within the cloud
  • Collaboration with stakeholders for support
  • Identify and analyse improvements to cloud solutions

Salary

They offer a basic salary of £45,000-£55,000 (DOE) + bonus scheme + Hybrid Working Setup + Private health insurance + more...

Location

This is a permanent hybrid role. They offer flexibility to work from home and they have an office in Mansfield (2-3 times per week).
