The Role as our Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Our cloud usage is growing and a growing number of live services now operate on AWS Cloud. As part of this, we’re looking for enthusiastic individuals from juniors to seniors to join the Cloud team. You’ll be a highly motivated Cloud Engineer who’s excited about helping to build a modern infrastructure for building, deploying, and monitoring high-volume software applications, along with internal tools and systems. You should be passionate about engineering and operations (you read the AWS engineering blog with your morning coffee; you excel at writing code to automate everything.

You’ll build additional implementations in a Linux environment as well as providing assisting with management of the AWS infrastructure platform, ensuring smooth running of live systems. Using automation tools will be your forte for efficiently building, combining, and launching infrastructure. Other responsibilities include helping resolving issues in production, test, & development environment, working on innovative tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. We will aid your learning through relevant cloud certifications to keep you challenged on a continuous basis. Does this sound like you? Are you up for the challenge? We would love to hear from you.

Requirements and Experience needed to become our Cloud Engineer (AWS)

- Demonstrable experience of leveraging AWS Cloud infrastructure

- Two or more years’ experience provisioning, operating, and managing AWS environments

- Experience with any of the following languages: Python, Ruby, Java, and YAML

- Understanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies

- Experience of using automation tools such as Terraform, Saltstack or Jenkins

-  Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines

- Achieved AWS Certified Developer - Associate or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate

- Motivated to learn and grow DevOps skills

- Excited to learn new technologies and evaluate technology solutions to problems

- Understanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies

- Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
