Saltwood Ward provides a low secure service for men with enduring mental illness, who are detained under the Mental Health Act, many have addiction problems which is addressed by our Psychology department.
All the patients have a full OT and Therapy timetable and are fully involved in helping Saltwood Ward lead the way with the Recovery College.
We will need from you a commitment and drive to provide the highest quality of care. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for this post, as you’ll be working within a multidisciplinary team and liaising with a wide variety of people. A knowledge of, and interest in the supervision and appraisal processes is essential, as you will be leading a team of Nurses and Health Care Workers with varying degrees of experience and knowledge.
