You will use clinical expertise, leadership and management skills to ensure co-ordination of the care of patients with Gynaelogical cancer. In collaboration with the multi disciplinary team, which includes medical and clinical oncologists, clinical nurse specialists, research nurses, ward nurses and prescribing pharmacists, you will develop and support a model of care to provide support, assessment and education for this group of patients, and include clinical sessions on the inpatient ward. This will include nurse led clinics and prescribing of systemic therapies using established protocols. It is essential you are a Registered Adult Nurse with substantial post registration experience, and have significant experience in a cancer nursing role with knowledge of the care and management of patients with gynelogical cancer. The hours of this post are worked Monday to Friday 9-5, but shifts may alter to suit service needs. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme.
