Clinical Editor (Nursing Standard)

Reference Number- RCN00660

Editorial | RCNi Harrow |

Contract type: Permanent

Permanent, 35 hours per week

Competitive salary, dependent on experience

Do you have a keen eye for detail, the ability to meet deadlines and a passion for improving the quality of nursing care in the UK and around the world?

If the answers are 'yes' then this job could be for you.

Nursing Standard is seeking a clinical editor who can help us maintain and improve the quality of our peer-reviewed content online and in print, and in turn help nurses deliver better outcomes for those in their care.

Nursing Standard is the profession's leading and biggest selling title. Published by RCNi, part of the Royal College of Nursing Group, we offer a unique source of nursing content across a range of media platforms.

Knowledge of nursing or healthcare is desirable but not essential. More important are evidence of strong editing skills, enthusiasm to learn and grow, and willingness to work in a team to get the job done. We are particularly interested in candidates who have digital publishing skills.

This is not a management position, but ideally you will have some experience of managing others or leading a team. If not and you're up for the challenge, then we'll teach you how.

In return, we'll give you a highly competitive salary, generous annual leave allowance and a friendly working environment in our Harrow office, just 15 minutes from Baker Street or Marylebone.

Please see the role description and person specification for further details. Please submit all applications online, using the supporting statement template provided by the specified closing date.

If you are invited to interview, please be prepared to bring examples of your work for us to see.

Closing date: 26 March 2018.
