Location: Field based in the North of England, ideally located 30 minutes from Manchester office

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm, but on occasion the role may require working outside of these hours

Role Description:

Bridge Recruitment is currently networking for a Client Relationship Manager to join the Team of one of our clients, a nationwide contract service provider operating within the commercial property sector to include Property Management, Facilities Management, M&E, drainage and waste. As Client Relationship Manager, you will be required to establish and maintain relationships with new clients, as well as grow and develop existing client relationships, in turn ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty. The ideal Client Relationship Manager will have a strong background in account management, sales and business development, and will have proven experience of selling to or for PM, FM or M&E businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out and building relationships with new contacts and clients

  • Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with both existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions. Add activities to the Outlook calendar. Use MI to provide customers with accurate information

  • Present quotes to clients via Teams or face to face and actively engage in the pursuit of closing deals daily. Gain a thorough understanding of client budgets and project timelines

  • Prioritise prompt responses to client emails and other communication, to demonstrate commitment to their needs, ensuring they do not experience unnecessary delays and therefore fostering a perception of genuine care and responsiveness

  • Utilise sales skills to exceed targets and grow existing accounts by identifying a) additional services we can provide, b) further sites we can serve, c) requesting referrals to uncover new prospects, d) cross selling services

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met promptly and effectively

  • Maintain CRM pipelines daily, ensuring all client interactions are accurately recorded and up to date

  • Prepare and deliver presentations using PowerPoint and utilise Excel for data analysis and reporting

  • Cultivate and nurture enduring customer relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty

  • Harness the power of LinkedIn and capitalise on referrals to discover fresh leads and enhance customer base

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for customer issues, collaborating closely with the relevant teams to resolve matters promptly and positively

  • Minimum of six face to face client meetings per week and six plus CPD presentations per year

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales, account management, client relationship or business development

  • Previous experience selling services to or selling for the commercial property management, facilities management/services or mechanical and electrical businesses

  • Proven track record of success in growing accounts and exceeding targets

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

  • IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and previous experience with CRM systems

  • Strong verbal and written skills - Maths and English GCSE C or above

  • Previous experience of working in the drainage, pumps, or electrical industry
