This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced client manager or an outstanding senior ready to step into their first management role.

This is a small but thriving and independently owned firm of accountants based in the mid Kent area but representing a full cycle of clients based across Kent, London and the South East.

As a client manager, you will provide a pivotal link between the firm’s leadership and the bulk of the accounting and tax based staff.

You will manage both a small team and your own portfolio of clients, be responsible for onboarding new clients, business development and post review meetings.

Key day to day duties to include:

  • Prepare annual statutory accounts, corporation, partnership and personal tax returns
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly accounts and VAT returns
  • Managing your client portfolio and client relations
  • Oversee and review the work of more junior staff and bookkeepers
  • Onboard new clients and assist the partners with ad-hoc consulting and systems implementation work as required.

What about you?

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years experience within practice.

You will have worked as a Senior, Client Manager or Manager within a practice environment and have hands on experience of accounts, management accounts, tax and VAT.
