  • Rate of Pay: £14 up to £16 + bonuses
  • 8 hours minimum / Overtime at time and a third
  • Driving Assessment required regardless to how experienced
  • Possible Temp to Perm for the right driver
  • Must have held your licence 2 years!
  • Must hold a Grab Clam shell certification!
  • Contract Length: 12 weeks / ongoing / ad-hoc
  • Hours of Work: 06.00am / 06.45am - Finish
  • Availability Required: Monday - Friday / Ad-Hoc / Occasional Saturdays
  • Location: Southampton

We are on the lookout for a Category2, HGV2, LGV2, CAT C, CLASS 2 Grab Clam Shell Bucket driver to join our team, to work on behalf of our client based in Southampton.

Role and Responsibilities - Category2, HGV2, LGV2, CAT C, CLASS 2 Grab Clam Shell Bucket driver:

  • Required to remove muck from site and deliver aggregates using a clamshell bucket
  • Required to backfill using the clamshell bucket whilst on site
  • Working to time critical deadlines and set collection times
  • Ensuring an excellent Customer Service is offered at all times.
  • Collections from building sites and local homes

Skills and Experience - Category2, HGV2, LGV2, CAT C, CLASS 2 Grab Clam Shell Bucket driver:

  • Must hold a Grab Clam shell certification!
  • Hiab / Grab ticket (with Clamshell attachment)
  • Good communication skills, a can-do attitude and customer focused approach
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence
  • Must hold a Digital Tachograph card
  • Must hold a valid Driver Certificate of Professional competence (DCPC Card)
  • Must have 2 years HGV2 driving experience
  • 3-6 Months LGV2 and Clam Shell Experience
  • Excellent Level of English both Written and Spoken
  • The ability to priorities and work on your own initiative when under pressure
  • Prior multi-drop driving experience would be beneficial within a similar role
