Class 1 Container Driver

We are seeking HGV Container tramper or day drivers in the Southampton area.

Responsibilities as a Container Driver:

  • delivering / collecting goods
  • Delivery of Containers
  • Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
  • Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation

Requirements for a Container Driver

  • Hold a Full UK driving licence with Category C+E entitlement on your Driving Licence
  • Must have an up to date Digital Tacho Card and CPC Card
  • All applicants must have a checkable work history
  • Must have held this Class 1 Licence for over a year

This role is Monday to Friday, £17 per hour.
