Class 1 ADR Driver - Southampton - £16.00 per hour

Drivertemps are currently recruiting for an HGV 1 ADR Driver in Southampton and surrounding areas in.

We are offering on-going continuous work for an experienced HGV 1 ADR Driver, you will ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience and will hold a valid ADR Licence and in return you will be offered an hourly rate of £16.00 per hour and 10 hours guaranteed.

The Class 1 ADR Driver must be experienced in Pallets and Packaging.

All drops and collections are forklift loaded.

The Role:

  • Class 1 ADR Multi Drop work in Southampton and surrounding areas.
  • Experience with curtain siders is desirable.
  • Drops will be between 7-8 a day and between 3-4 collections.
  • Start time is between 5am and 6.00am
  • Responsible for all health and safety.
  • Security of all products.
  • Customer facing.
  • Fantastic customer service levels are essential.
  • Paperwork completed to a high standard.

Experience:

  • Valid Driving Licence.
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience.
  • Valid ADR Licence.
  • Understand and comply with Drivers hours and WTD Legislation.
  • Pallet and Packaging experience is essential.
  • Hold good geographical knowledge.
  • Understand the English language.
  • Must be professional and presentable.
