Claims Handler

As a Claims Handler you will be responsible for handling departmental claims, providing advice and assistance in a professional manner

Key Responsibilities

* Answering calls promptly and courteously , following standard claims procedure to determine the validity of claims

* Communicating with customers, insurers, suppliers and field adviser's in a professional manner

* Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements

* Responsible for the efficient handling on insurance claims and related product claims

* Ensure the accuracy of information recorded on the database

* Achieve service standards, company and contractual requirements

* Compose proficient letter

Skills / Qualities

* Excellent communications skills both verbal and written

* An understanding and reassuring telephone manner

* Professional attitude and appearance

* Computer literate and strong keyboard skills

* Enthusiastic with a proactive attitude
