Claims Data Analysis Specialist, Insurance, SQL, Power BI, Mainly Remote

Claims Data Analysis Specialist required to work for a fast-growing insurance company based near Watford, Hertfordshire. However, this role will be mainly remote and you would only be expected to be in the office circa once a month.

We need someone from an insurance background who is an expert with the likes of SQL and Power BI. The role can progress on to bigger and better things. Read on for more details…

Experience Required:

  • Process mining - understanding how business processes create data, unearthing what this data can say opportunities and risks to the business, proposing changes and testing/monitoring the results of these changes
  • SQL - working with large volumes of structured and semi-structured data
  • Strong written and verbal communicator - adept at telling stories with data supported by MS Office as appropriate

Essential

  • Experience analysing claims data (ideally at a pet insurer)
  • You must be adept at writing production quality, automated code and routines. (This is so that you spend the majority of your time working with the business on making things better, not maintaining manual processes)
  • Expert SQL (they use T-SQL)
  • Expert level Power BI (or other data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Looker, Data Studio or Qlik)
  • MS Office (Excel, Power Point)
  • Attention to detail
  • Well organised, enthusiastic and self-motivated
