We are currently recruiting on their behalf for a Claims Adjuster, based at their office in the heart of London. The successful candidate will provide support to the Group Claims Team on a daily basis, as well as developing a working understanding of claims processes and procedures.

Flexible working options are available with this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling a caseload of US and international Professional & Financial Lines Claims, as well as some Healthcare and Cyber Claims.
• Supporting the investigation and handling of all claims.
• Helping to ensure claims systems are kept up to date in a timely manner.
• Supporting the promotion of compliance, with best practice for all aspects of claims management.
• Assisting Underwriters in renewal meetings as required.
• Providing feedback to Underwriters from a Claims perspective.
• Helping to ensure that all handled claims are properly processed and reserved.
• Ensuring alignment and compliance with global reserving practices and strategy.
• Supporting claims team members in participation of claims audits.

Key Requirements

• Experience in any relevant Lloyd’s / London Market classes of business i.e. FinPro, Financial Lines, Casualty, Professional Indemnity, etc…
• Strong mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong educational background.
