Stride Resource Management are currently recruiting for a Property Claims Adjuster to join a high quality claims management business, This Role is Fully Remote with a salary upto £30,000.

You will have the responsibility for all aspects of claim investigations, consideration and settlement. The claims will cover all domestic policy perils and the Claims Adjuster will be responsible for the detailed triaging of claims at the front end. To display a proactive approach to management of their case load. To move claims to successful and timely conclusions, in line with the guidelines set by our clients whether on a Retained or Delegated basis. Additionally, to offer close support to the Property Field adjuster force.

Your role:

  • As a Claims Adjuster, you will deal with your own case load, in addition to supporting and progressing claims with a designated Field Adjuster, these will be claims from their first receipt until completion and ensure that the loss or damage is covered sufficiently by the terms of the policyholder's insurance policy.
  • FNOL
  • Detailed triage of new claims Working to a high level in the Mid- and High net Worth area, with the ability to apply bespoke conditions as per our client's preferences
  • You will be required to liaise with insurers, policyholders and other parties and therefore good verbal and written communication
  • Within this role you are to ensure that the claim is dealt with a proactive approach and meets the agreed SLA's.
  • You will be working as part of a team and be required to assist with other cases as workloads and holidays demand.
  • Assistance with out of hours "emergency" claims.
  • Liaison with clients as necessary including some attendance at client functions

You will be expected to handle claims from cradle to grave. A typical caseload would be claims with a portfolio of both domestic and commercial claims. Write full and detailed reports for insurers, including recommendations for settlement.

Liaise with Insurers, policyholders, lawyers and other parties with a proactive approach to settling claims. The company ethos is quality and ensuring that all parties are communicated with at all times.

Experience Required

  • Cert CII and / or Cert CILA (Desirable)
  • Minimum 2 Year Claims adjusting experience in Domestic insurance claims area
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills in order to bring a claim to a conclusion
  • Effective communicator, verbally and in written communication
  • Effective Time Management
  •  IT literate, Business conscious
