Civil Litigation Lawyer

Job Description

Service Care Legal are currently working with a 'Legal 500 Leading Firm', based in Devon, which is in need of a Civil Litigation Lawyer to join their team. The successful candidate will have a good grounding in civil litigation, with at least one year of experience. The areas covered by this role are fairly specialist, including SEN tribunals, High Court for judicial reviews, Tier 1 tribunals, and employment tribunals.

ROLE: Civil Litigation Lawyer

LOCATION: Devon - hybrid working

SALARY: £35,000 to £40,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Representing clients in civil litigation cases
  • Handle a caseload of, but not limited to, SEN tribunal; High Court for judicial reviews; Tier 1 tribunals and employment tribunals
  • Conducting legal research
  • Attending court hearings and trials

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with at least one year of experience in civil litigation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases
