Civil Design Engineer

Blueprint Recruitment has a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join an International Consulting Engineering Practice on a permanent staff basis.

The successful candidate will be based in the London office, which offers flexible working hours!

Due to our client's growth, they are looking for a Civil Engineer to join their Engineering team to develop complex technical designs and manage various schemes as per requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• The writing of fee proposals
• Attend project and client meetings when necessary
• Manage, prepare and control costs and budgets of Engineering projects
• Produce designs to appropriate standards
• Assist in the preparation of contract documents and specifications
• Conduct inspections and surveys
• Manage elements of projects if and when required
• Contribute to the technical development of the design function of the team

Key Requirements:

• A degree in Civil Engineering
• Extensive experience in the design of Civil projects including Roads and Drainage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of UK, Irish and European codes
• Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, Civils 3D etc.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• A chartered Engineer status or working towards
