Children's Residential Support Worker (CRSW) - Oldham

Prospero are currently recruiting experienced Children's Residential Support Workers who are looking for flexible shifts which work around your lifestyle, based within Oldham and the surrounding areas.

As a Support Worker you will provide support for the children and young people within a residential environment, providing essential care and maintaining a safe environment. You will be responsible for:

  • Actively engaging with the young people with their interests and aspirations
  • Engaging, communicating and listening to the children and their needs
  • Promoting healthy routines for daily living (meals, bedtimes, social)
  • Documenting all observations with accuracy
  • Supporting the young person to manage and regulate their emotions
  • Maintaining professional boundaries

To be a successful Children's Residential Support Worker you should have:

  • Minimum of six months experience working within a similar setting
  • Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be a resilient and friendly individual
  • Proficiency at building strong professional relationships
  • Holder of the Right to Work in the UK
  • Driver's licence (desirable)
  • Ability to complete our compliance requirements (includes DBS, References, Training)
  • Level 3 Children & Young People (desirable)
