This permanent role offers a great opportunity for progression, development and a sense of achievement. Students who attend this school have various backgrounds, and are all on EHCPS. As a Children's Mental Health Support Assistant you will be responsible for student wellbeing and engagement. Identifying areas of needs and creating and developing learning and behavioural support plans with the Class Teacher.

Your role & responsibilities:
- Work closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to implement behaviour support plans.
- De-escalator, Prevent and Support students in regulating emotions
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with behavioural needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the school setting.
Non-negotiables:
- Proven experience working with children
- A minimum of 6 months UK based experience
- Good understanding of SEMH
- Resilient, Reliable and Engaging Individual
