Job Description:

They are seeking a motivated and skilled Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join their award-winning Public Children Team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with the management of a diverse range of Public Children Law cases.

Responsibilities include drafting documents, instructing counsel/medical experts, liaising with clients, attending court, and providing general legal support to the fee earner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing a varied range of Public Children Law cases.
  • Draft legal documents and correspondence.
  • Instruct counsel/medical experts as necessary.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, providing updates and support.
  • Attend court proceedings and provide support to the legal team.
  • Provide general legal support and assistance to the fee earner.
Requirements:
  • Practical experience working in family law is preferred, but other legal experience will be considered.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to providing excellent client service.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
