Full-Time Chemistry Teacher Role starting after Easter 2024

As a Chemistry Teacher at Cheltenham School, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering captivating lessons, evaluating student progress, and fostering collaborative relationships with parents and peers. Whether you're an experienced educator or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to make a difference, we invite passionate individuals to apply.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development and Delivery

Craft and deliver engaging chemistry lessons in alignment with curriculum standards.

Employ diverse teaching strategies to accommodate various learning preferences.

Assessment and Feedback:

Develop and administer assessments to gauge student comprehension.

Offer constructive feedback to support student growth and achievement.

Classroom Management:

Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Implement effective classroom management techniques to maintain focus and discipline.

Communication and Professionalism:

Foster open communication with students, parents, and colleagues.

Stay abreast of professional development opportunities to enhance teaching proficiency.

This full-time position extends until the culmination of the academic year, with potential for part-time arrangements for suitable candidates. Competitive remuneration ranging from £130 to £250 per day will be offered based on experience and expertise.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

Relevant teaching credentials and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Proficiency in teaching all aspects of chemistry up to GCSE level.

Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Demonstrated classroom management skills and a commitment to nurturing a conducive learning environment.

Legally entitled to work in the UK.
