Change and Problem Management Specialist - Nato Secret Clearance

My client is searching for a Change and Problem Management Specialist with Nato Secret Clearance. The work location is Braine l' Alleud (20km from Brussels) and will be Onsite from May 6th 2024 - December 2024 (extension possible).

You will be under the direction of the Service Delivery Manager and the role includes the following:

CHANGE MANAGEMENT

- Work with cross functional teams to authorize and oversee any changes

- Verify the change requests in accordance with business objectives and mininize risks

- Monitor outcomes of changes and address any issues that arise

- Maintain change management process

- Facilitate the change advisory board meetings and ensure approvals are done in a timely manner

PROBLEM MANAGEMENT

- Investigate recurring incidents and source underlying causes

- Work with technical teams to assure implementation of solutions

- Maintain a problem knowledge base to refer back to for continuous improvement

- Be on the lookout for potential issues and strategise preventative measures

RELEASE MANAGEMENT ( secondary scope)

- Assist with coordination of software releases, updates and patches

- Monitor release schedules and liaise with stakeholders

- Post-release evaluations

Skills needed for the role:

- English and French (elementary) are required

- Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT or a related field (relevant experience is also considered)

- 3 years of hands-on experience with change and problem management

- ITIL Foundation Certification (higher ITIL Certs are a plus)

- Familiar with ITIL practices and framework

- Knowledge with at least one of the following: Kepner-Tregoe, Fishbone, Five Why's or other

- Exposure to release management processes

Desirables:

- Knowledge of NATO responsibilites & organisation (incl. Allied Command Operations / Transformation)
