Change Manager

Role: Change and Problem Management Specialist
Location: Braine l 'Alleud (20km from Brussels)
Duration: May 6th - December 2024 + extension possible
Rate: €500 to €575 Euros per day
Client: Government
Clearance Required: Secret NATO
Languages Needed: English and French (Elementary level)

Experience:

• Familiarity with ITIL best practices and framework.
• Familiarity with, at least one Problem Management methodology (Kepner-Tregoe, Five Why's, Fishbone or other. Any certification in this field will be a plus).
• Exposure to release management processes.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including Allied Command Operations and Allied Command Transformation.

Change Management Responsibilities:

• Cooperate with cross functional teams, to authorize and oversee changes
• Verify change requests, ensuring they align with business objectives and minimize risks. Monitor the impact of changes and address any issues promptly.
• Maintain a robust change management process,
• Facilitate change advisory board (CAB) meetings and ensure timely approvals

Problem Management Responsibilities:

• Investigate recurring incidents and identify underlying root causes.
• Collaborate with technical teams in order to assure permanent solutions are implemented. Maintain a problem knowledge base for reference and continuous improvement.
• Proactively identify potential problems and work towards preventive measures

Release Management:

• Assist in coordinating software releases, updates, and patches.
• Monitor release schedules and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Participate in post-release evaluations
