Introduction


Our client, a leading company in the renewable energy sector, is currently seeking a Certification Engineer to join their team. This is a contract position within the Offshore Wind industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day certification process
  • Implement the project certification strategy
  • Liaise with the Certifier and third parties
  • Incorporate suitable certification requirements in Employer Requirements
  • Familiarize the Engineering team with certification requirements
Deliverables
  • Certification plan
  • Certification tracker
  • Certifiers approval
Requirements
  • Successfully completed university degree in the domain of technology or engineering
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within the renewable energy business
  • High level understanding of the purpose and process of Certification for offshore wind farms
  • Familiarity with high level industry standards
  • Interdisciplinary and creative mindset, ability to work independently and proactively
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and an ability to understand the certification aspects of topics from a broad spectrum of technical disciplines
  • Proven project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in understanding a broad range of complex topics and explain them in a variety of stakeholder contexts
