Job Title: CDM Principal Designer

Location: London

Salary and Benefits:

- Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience) for experienced CDM Principal Designer.

- Salary to be agreed (circa £40,000 - £45,000) for candidates with relevant experience and capability to learn.

- Additional benefits package available.

Join a leading UK design and construction team dedicated to ensuring safety and compliance in every project. We advise designers on safety options, empower clients to make informed choices, and assist contractors in achieving regulatory compliance.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a CDM Principal Designer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advising designers and contractors on safety measures and ensuring compliance with CDM regulations throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advise designers on design safety options.

- Assist clients in making informed choices regarding safety.

- Support contractors in achieving compliance with CDM regulations.

- Compile CDM design and construction risk registers.

- Lead a small department of CDM Principal Designers in due course.

Qualifications and Experience:

- NEBOSH National Construction Certificate or equivalent.

- Minimum 2-3 years' experience working under the CDM Regulations 2015 in Construction Design Management.

- Experience compiling CDM design and construction risk registers.

- Membership of a relevant professional body preferred but not essential.

Personal Attributes:

- Articulate and well-presented.

- Strong communication skills.

- Strong work ethic and a good team player.

- Ambitious and motivated to lead a small department in the future.
