A local government organisation is looking to recruit an interim Category Manager to join their very successful procurement team. The role will be for a 6 month contract based in central London.
Your new role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a developing procurement team that is going through a lot of change. Within your role you will be required to procure across a number of categories, including facilities management and professional services. You will be required to research the supplier market, tender for a number of contracts and negotiate with a number of stakeholders in order to obtain best value for money.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role you must have lead on a number of end to end procurement following EU regulations. You ideally will have procured within FM or professional services but generalist candidates will be considered. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills required. You should also be studying/have studied your CIPS qualification.
