Cargo Bike Rider / Courier

Zedify is shaking things up in the logistics sector by transforming the way first and last-mile deliveries are done in cities. To help us navigate growth alongside our goals, we’re looking for a Cargo Bike Rider / Courier to join us in our Edinburgh hub on a full-time basis.

As a Cargo Bike Rider / Courier, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient and timely delivery of packages to our valued customers while representing our partner's brand through excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely navigate assigned delivery routes using a company-provided bicycle
• Pick up and deliver packages promptly and accurately while adhering to established delivery schedules
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with customers during deliveries and addressing any inquiries or concerns
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to our partner's uniform and appearance standards
• Use handheld devices and company-provided technology to scan packages, track deliveries, and update delivery status in real time
• Ensure packages are securely loaded and unloaded, preventing any damage during transportation
• Report any discrepancies, delays, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager promptly
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while cycling and operate the bicycle in a safe and responsible manner
• Comply with all company policies, practices and procedures
• Actively strive to create a safe and dynamic working environment

Required Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet delivery deadlines
• Physical fitness and ability to ride a bicycle for extended periods in varying weather conditions
• Punctual, presentable, trustworthy and reliable
• Comfortable using handheld devices and technology for tracking and updating delivery information
• Can commit to daytime (8 am - 2 pm) and/or evening (1 pm - 8 pm) shifts from Monday to Sunday
