SCHOOL CARETAKER/SITE ASSISTANT REQUIRED!

School caretaker/site assistant required to work at a school in Birmingham

Job Description:

• unlocking and locking up the school site as well as individual departments
• Keeping the school grounds maintained and tidied
• General maintenance, DIY - fixing and put furniture together, painting
• litter picking
• assisting with any school deliveries
• overlooking the schools health and safety. Carrying out fire drills/test.
• Checking fire extinguishers and other health and safety aspects of the schools
• Liaising with contractors and escorting them around site
• Setting up classrooms and halls for assemblies and parents' evenings
• Gardening and outdoor site maintenance - lawn mowing, using a strimmer, weeding, litter picking

Requirements:

• MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR IMMEDIATE START
• MUST HAVE ENHANCED DBS
• MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Monday to Friday, spilt shifts - starting as early as 7am, finishing as late as 7pm

£12.50 pay rate per hour
