Careers Coordinator & Advisor - Part Time

Location: Coventry, CV2

Salary: £24,294 to 25,545

Days: 2 days (0.4), Term Time Only

Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm

Start Date: June 2024 or ASAP

Contract: Fixed Term until July 2024 (Permanent Opportunity September 2024)

Post Objective: To ensure the school has a good careers programme that meets the expectations set out in the Gatsby Benchmarks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide a thorough, personalised career service throughout the school.
  • Provide engaging advice, guidance and support on post-16 choices, including vocational courses, university degrees and post-16 careers.
  • Show an awareness of pupils' preferences and which pathway(s) would be most appropriate for them.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the career's guidance at Seva School.
  • Staying up to date with relevant CPD and developments in the CEIAG sector to update and inform policy and procedures.
