Our client is actively seeking a motivated Senior Healthcare Professional or Field Care Supervisor to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.

Whether you're currently leading a team or aspiring to step into a supervisory role within the healthcare sector, this opportunity awaits you.

This role, covering Barnstaple, North Devon and its neighbouring areas, requires reliable access to transport as it involves conducting care assessments and customer reviews for the provider. Alongside these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also engage in Business Development, promoting the provider's care services and liaising with stakeholders in order to grow their Domiciliary Care Service.

As the business is launching their services in this new area it is essential that you are able to work autonomously and fully market the provision and develop new business.

You have a robust background in the care industry and this role can serve as a stepping stone towards potential progression to a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager position in the future.

Responsibilities:

* Direct provision of care to service users, encompassing companionship, personal care, manual handling, medication administration, and health promotion.
* Conducting visits to new and existing customers, facilitating medication reviews, implementing person-centred care plans and collaborating with medical professionals
* Monitoring healthcare workers' performance through spot checks, reporting concerns promptly to the Register Manager, and advocating for the business within the community.
* Proactively promoting the clients services to potential customers.

Requirements:

* Strong background in the care industry
* The ability to promote the business through Business Development
* Be passionate about wanting to support those that require care in their own homes
* Ability to handle a 40-hour workweek with every other weekend off
* Proven experience in providing direct care and conducting assessments
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
* Driving license and access to transport
