We require several night shift carers who have experience of working with clients with learning disabilities in particular those with autism to support female clients living in a care homes in Edinburgh, West Linton, Musselburgh, Kirkliston, longniddry, Garvald and the surrounding areas, through our friendly Edinburgh branch.

Due to rural client locations and shift times, public transport is not always readily available, therefore access to your own vehicle is desirable.The Care Assistant Role
In this role, you will be supporting female clients with learning disabilities in a residential setting. Daily tasks may include assisting with overnight monitoring, washing and dressing, meal times, personal care and assisting with activities as required. We can offer you flexible shifts that fit around your family or other job commitments. You will need to have the right to live and work in the UK, at least 3 months' previous paid care experience in the UK and suitable referee contact details to apply for this vacancy. You will also need a valid certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course, or be willing to book onto a Newcross course. You must be SSSC registered or commit to registering when you join us.
