We are currently looking to recruit x3 Full Time (37 hours) Business Support Officers who will carry out the role of Minute Takers to provide support to Child Protection meetings for a busy Social Care Team.

The office base is currently within the Allendale Road Building in Byker, at times you may be required to attend meetings off site with community settings e.g. schools.

Office Hours are Monday to Friday 9-5 pm.

As part of the role, you will be required to attend meetings in person and via Teams where family and professionals are in attendance and take notes of discussions held, produce high quality notes outlining prevalent points raised and decision rationale.

The ideal candidate will be require:

Experience of Minute Taking and/or ability to convey discussion points in a clear written format.

Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills to enable them to manage a high workload whilst meeting statutory timescales.

Manage a busy workload and demonstrate the ability to prioritise/reprioritise workloads as and when required to meet deadlines.

Ability to manage sensitive information and data whilst adhering to GDPR.

Be able to demonstrate emotional resilience due to nature of meeting content.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages particularly Word and basic Excel

Able to demonstrate:
1. Knowledge and competent use of Microsoft Office applications with the ability to
create, manipulate and update spreadsheets and databases and good keyboard
skills
2. Good verbal and written communication skills.
3. Good organisation and time management skills.
4. Excellent Customer Service Skills with the ability to resolve complex enquiries
from external customers either face to face and on the phone
5. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
6. Understand the need to follow established procedures including financial
processes
7. Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
8. Ability to relay information accurately
9. Understanding of the need to identify and embed new business processes.
