Reed FE, the UK’s leading FE recruiter, is seeking a Business Lecturer to join our esteemed team. We work with a variety of educational institutions across South East England, and we’re looking for talented individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality education to learners of all ages and backgrounds.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Delivering engaging business lectures to students in further education settings.
• Preparing lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
• Assessing and providing feedback on student work.
• Managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A teaching qualification such as AET, PTLLS, PGCE, or Certificate in Education.
• An assessor’s qualification like A1, D33/D34, CAVA, TAQA, or IQA is desirable.
• Level 3 or equivalent qualification in the business or related subject area.
• Experience managing challenging behaviour.
• Proven interaction with 16-19-year-olds in education or apprenticeship settings.
• Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance.
